How To Use The Marketing Section
This quick guide shows you how to use the Marketing section to send emails, texts, and schedule social posts. It’s easy to follow, with simple steps to help you stay connected with your audience and promote your services confidently.
What Can You Do in the Marketing Section?
- The Marketing section allows you to:
- Send email or SMS broadcasts
- Schedule campaigns ahead of time
- Create templates for re-use
- Track opens, clicks, and replies
It’s great for newsletters, promotions, reminders, and updates.
1. Email Campaigns (One-off Messages)
To send a one-time email to your contacts:
- Go to Marketing > Emails
- Click “+ New Campaign”
- Give your campaign a name (for your own use)
- Choose a template or build from scratch
- Create your message using the drag-and-drop editor
- Choose your recipient list
- Pick a send time; send now or schedule later
- Click Send or Schedule
After sending, you can track:
- Open rates
- Click-throughs
- Bounces and unsubscribes
2. SMS Campaigns (Text Blasts)
To send a bulk SMS: (* Once you’ve used your free text message quota, additional texts will be charged at £0.05 each).
- Go to Marketing > SMS
- Click “+ New Campaign”
- Name your campaign
- Write your message (keep it short & clear!)
- Choose your contacts or tag group
- Schedule or send immediately
SMS works best for reminders, short promos, or time-sensitive messages.
3. Templates
You can save emails or SMS messages as templates to re-use later.
- Go to Templates under the Marketing section
- Create a new template or edit existing ones
- Use your template when starting future campaigns
Saves time and keeps branding consistent.
4. Social Planner (Optional Add-On Feature)
If enabled, you can also manage social media posts:
- Go to Marketing > Social Planner
- Connect your social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Schedule or post content across platforms
- See upcoming scheduled posts in calendar view
Great for visual planning and keeping your social pages active.
Tips for Better Results
- Use clear subject lines and a call to action
- Keep messages short and engaging
- Personalise with the contact’s name if possible
- Always test emails or texts by sending them to yourself first
